He didn't care about the decorations anymore, at least, not for now. Now, they had more important things to discuss and do. They decorating could wait. He hoped that Alexa would continue to play soft classical music after that piece finished.

Her fingertips against his cheek made him shiver, the intimacy of the touch another new experience. "I- I am?" He shook his head, both hands cupping her face now as he pressed a kiss to her forehead. "I am wonderful, Ruri. Never better."

He smiled fondly at her as she stood to join him, his hand tightening around hers, squeezing gently. "I'm glad one of us does." The smiled turned teasing as he led her to the bedroom, his heart beginning to pound in his chest as they approached the doorway.

"You're sure?" He turned back to her, seeking answers in her eyes. "If at any time you're not sure, we'll stop." Yep, a heart attack seemed imminent.
