True to his word, KITT shows up at Ruri's house in the space of minutes from her last text. It's definitely an unusual move for him, showing up at the house of a woman he barely knows, by himself, because of an evening that more and more resembles a blur as he tries to think back on it.

But he said he would be there, and he'd gone and found the perfect frame for his 'artwork', and it would be rude to skip out on both counts.

Arriving at her house, he lifts his hand to rap on the door just so he doesn't walk in unannounced. Once inside, it doesn't take long for him to see her lying there, his face crumpling into a frown of concern. What had happened in the short time it had taken him to walk to her house? Kneeling beside her, he sets the frame and hammer aside, watching her carefully.
